Short Bio of John M. Healy

My family and I live on the shore of Pleasant Lake in Warner, NH. My co– author and wife, Muriel, and I have been married for thirty one years. We have two children, both adopted. Mike is twenty three.  He recently completed a Heavy Equipment Operators School in Florida. Our daughter, Melissa, age twenty one,  attends NHTI in Concord, NH. She spent her first college semester, abroad, at the University of Limerick, Ireland.

I was born in Portsmouth and lived in the Granite State all of my life, except for a short time working in New York State for General Electric, after graduating from NHTI in 1969. I am pleased Melissa is attending my Alma Mater.  I returned home from New York and eventually began a new career, leaving the world of electronics for Law Enforcement.

I retired from the NH State Police at the rank of Lieutenant and today I am a licensed private investigator and consultant. I was proud to serve as the President of The New Hampshire League of Investigators, Inc (www.nhli.net)  and the New England Council of State Investigator Associations. (www.pimall.com/necosia)

I hold the professional designation of Certified Master Investigator (CMI) and Certified International Investigator (CII) as well as husband, father and grandfather. Our granddaughter, Maddison, is five and lives with us.

I am on the Adjunct Faculty at the NH Police Academy and taught Computer Foundations for several years at NHCTC, Laconia, NH.

Today I teach classes on the filed of investigations to investigators and law enforcement officers around New England.
